Classic, Angel or Volume Lashes: Which Style Fits You?

You know you want lashes—but which kind?

If you’ve looked through a booking menu and wondered about the difference between Classic, Angel, and Volume, you’re not alone.

At Noble Beauty Collective, we start with the look you love and the natural lashes we’re working with. Here’s a little guidance before your next appointment.

Classic lashes

Classic lashes use one extension on each suitable, isolated natural lash.

They can create a defined, mascara-like finish. Because we’re working with your existing lash line, your natural lashes influence how full the finished set appears.

Classic may appeal to you if you enjoy a lighter look and want more definition without a particularly dense lash line.

Angel lashes

Angel lashes are often requested for a soft, wispy, textured finish.

The name can mean different things at different salons, so a reference photo is especially helpful. You might love the delicate spikes, the airy appearance, or the way the lashes frame the eyes.

Tell your artist which details you like so you can discuss how to achieve a similar effect with your natural lashes.

Volume lashes

Volume uses fans of fine extensions attached to individual, isolated natural lashes.

Your artist considers the combined weight of the fan and the condition of your natural lashes when selecting the extensions.

Volume offers options for fullness and texture. It can be tailored to your preferences, so it doesn’t automatically mean the longest or darkest set possible.

The style is only part of the result

Length, curl, placement, and density all influence how your lashes look.

Two clients can book the same service and leave with different results because their natural lashes, eye shapes, and preferences are different.

That’s why inspiration photos are a starting point for a conversation.

Let’s find your look

Think about your everyday makeup, how much texture you enjoy, and whether you prefer a subtle or fuller lash line.

You don’t need to know all the technical terms. Bring a couple of photos and tell us what you love about them.
